We have developed a new generation of double-layer capacitors (supercapacitor or ultracapacitor) using carbon nanotubes (CNT) and graphene.
So far, lab data shows that we are 10X above existing supercapacitors in specific-energy (Wh/kg), and about parity with lithium-ion batteries using only CNTs. The advantage of a supercapacitor is we can recharge in minutes, and have over 1-million cycle life.
By integrating graphene with CNTs, we can now double that performance figure to 20X. There are number of secret sauces in the X-CapTM that were not disclosed in the patent filing, so we hope to maintain a good lead in energy storage.
Since we are still optimizing our X-CapTM design, we do not have any off-the-shelf products for you to select from, yet. However, we are engaged in discussions with OEM folks to design X-CapsTM for their specific needs, and we are open to similar discussions with you, as well. We can custom produce energy storage for your system at a reasonable cost. We can also hybrid the X-CapTM with LiFePO4 or Li-polymer batteries.
